About Birth Records in Hawaii
The Hawaii Department of Health Status Monitoring is responsible for birth records for the entire state. In Hawaii, vital records are restricted records, and can therefore only be accessed by the registrant, an immediate family member, or a legal representative.Certified copies of birth records from 1909 to present can be ordered online, however, they will only be delivered via first class mail.
