About Land Records and Deeds in Oregon
The Recorders Offices in Oregon contain all property records, marriage records, and other legal documents. Records kept include deeds, mortgages, liens, easements and subdivision plats, and dog licenses. Each county has its own recorders office. The Recorder's Office is generally managed by the County Clerk's Office. Some Counties maintain an online database to search these records, while others require written requests, or the use of a viewing area provided by the recorder's office.|
