How the hell can I be a Corrections Officer and work in the local county jail with baby killers and gang bangers who threaten me and my familys lives on a daily basis keep my records private. I have gone to great lenghts to reduce the ammount of information available on us but still their are leaks everywhere. I think that what people need to do is start by not registering to vote . Thats one source people can use to get your personal information, to hell with a goverment who wont protect our privacy. Lets start their. Absolute insanity is what it is. Its all about money thats all it is, and we can't stop it.

This is one of the most infuriating things that I have encountered as of late. I am a paid tax preparer and I can no longer find the information needed to properly prepare a correct return for my clients, without first having to pay for the 'pulic record' information.
The amount needed for property taxes on the federal form is the amount paid for the tax year. The amount needed for property taxes on the state credit is the amount levied and must also include the taxable value of the home. This information WAS available for 'free', but now is only available on a 'must pay' basis. I strongly disagree with this and wish that we could find a way to access this 'public record' information, without the added charges.
