The requester felt that the state worker had not handled her adoptive son’s case properly and sought information that would help her in her lawsuit against the state.

FEMA to Release Info About Disaster Aid Recipients

The 11th Circuit Court of Appeals in Atlanta handed down a federal court order in June forcing FEMA to provide address information of disaster aid recipients to four Florida newspapers that fought for this information for almost three years. Day-Laborer Employer Information Blocked

A San Diego County,  California Superior Court judge has temporarily blocked the City of Vista from releasing the names, addresses and telephone numbers of private employers who have registered to hire day laborers.
