West Virginia Voter and Elections Information Directory

Voter and election records are managed by the West Virginia Secretary of State and the County Clerk in each county. Information can obtained through the County Clerks by contacting their office in person, by phone, or via written request. An online database is available through the Secretary of State whereby registration records can be searched by name and date of birth. There is also online access to election calendars, information about candidates, as well as election results and statistics.

Campaign finance records are also managed by the Secretary of State’s office. Campaign finance records are available for state, legislative, multi-county judicial candidates, and political action committees. Online searches of campaign finance filings can be searched by candidate, committee, contributor, expenditures and year.
