North Dakota Jail and Inmate Records Directory

North Dakota inmate records are managed by the County Sheriff in each county. Records managed by the County Sheriff can be obtained in person, by phone, or by written request.

The North Dakota Attorney General manages a statewide online sex offender register whereby searches can be performed for high risk offenders, delinquent offenders, and offenders near a specific location. Interested parties can also sign up for email notifications of sex offender status changes.
