Michigan Business Licenses Directory

The Department of Labor and Economic Growth (DLEG) manages an online searchable database for most Michigan businesses and professions. Searches can be performed by profession, name, or license number. The record searches performed through the DLEG may lead to other licensing departments, such as the Bureau of Commercial Services, which is responsible for accountant licensing, or the Department of Community Health which manages the licenses of health care professionals.

The State Bar of Michigan is responsible for attorney licensing records. An online database is available whereby searches can be performed by name, city, or member number.
