Maine Land Records and Deeds Directory

Deeds, mortgage documents, easements, liens and other document recording are managed by the Registry of Deeds Office in each Maine county.

Most counties provide online access to recorded documents. Searches for online records can include searching by name, address, document type, and file date. Access to online records may require registration, depending on the county. For counties that are not online, access to recorded documents can be obtained by contacting the Registry of Deeds Office in person, by phone, or by mail.
