The Alaska Division of Corporations, Business and Professional Licensing, processes filings for forming a corporation in Alaska, forming an LLC (limited liability company), and registering trademarks. The Secretary of State maintains records of all filed documents and provides public access to this information. Additionally, state trademark registrations are often processed and maintained by Alaska’s Secretary of State.
The Alaska Division of Corporations, Business and Professional Licensing provides an online search system to search for licensing of all professions, including lawyers and doctors.
The Commerce, Community and Economic Development Division also maintains an online Business License Search and a Professional License search. These searches contain records for licenses issued by the Corporation, Business and Professional Licensing Division.
